About Event

National Social Summit 2019, IIT Roorkee endeavors to provide a platform to organizations working for the benefit of society to come together and join hands, and make a greater impact on social issues, through the pursuit of credible and substantial projects. It provides a common ground to NGOs, socially-aligned students of various educational institutions and stakeholders of the administrative bodies in this domain, to work together and produce self-sustaining collaborations and bonds to help each other explore and implement ideas that would ensure the upliftment of society and spreading awareness among them.

The National Social Summit 2019, IIT Roorkee is a one of a kind Inter-Institutional Social Meet. The main aim of the summit is to identify problems existing today in our society and providing a platform to portray innovative ideas for community and social welfare. National Social Summit believes in binding the enthusiasm and motivation of the youth with experience and knowledge of experienced field personnel with a motive to serve our nation, something that NSS strives to make common-place in the long run.
